The René 25 conference brought together renowned international researchers in mathematics to celebrate the research interests of René Schoof, which include the fields of algebraic number theory, arithmetic algebraic geometry, computational number theory and coding theory.

The conference on Arithmetic cycles, Modular forms, and L-functions was held the same week in Montreal, Canada, in honor of Henri Darmon. A joint, virtual event with René 25 was held.
The Number Theory Down Under (NTDU) conference was held the following week in Christchurch, New Zealand.
